CONSTITUTION

1. NAME

The name of the club shall be Milton Rovers Youth Football Club

2. OBJECT

The object of the club shall be to promote the highest standards of conduct, so that players both on and off the field are a credit to the club activities in a sportsman like manner and to foster a community spirit for the achievement of the aims and objectives.

3. MEMBERSHIP

Membership of M.R.Y.F.C. shall be open to all on payment of such and/or subscriptions such as categories of membership as may be determined from time to time by appointed committee of management.

Membership is open to all and no application for membership will be refused on other than reasonable grounds. There shall be no discrimination on the grounds of race, occupation, sex or religious, ethnic background, political or other opinion or persuasion.

4. THE COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT

The management of the affairs of M.R.Y.F.C. including maintenance of all equipment, the general organisation of activities, the organisation of fund raising activities and financial administration of the club funds, shall be the responsibility of the committee of management comprising of :

a.       The chairman who shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting.

b.      The secretary and treasurer who shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting.

c.       Ordinary members who shall be elected at the A.G.M. or Co-opted to the committee of management during the year. A position of Honorary President may be awarded at the discretion of the committee. No person out with the committee of management will be permitted to serve the club as an official representative unless by express agreement of the committee.

Special meetings of the committee may be called if requested by three or more stipulating the purpose of that meeting. The Secretary requests that such notice be in writing as to maintain accurate records. All committee members shall serve for the duration of one year but may offer themselves for re-election at the A.G.M.
